 An NEA Jazz Master, 16-time Grammy winner, prolific composer and undisputed keyboard virtuoso, Chick Corea has attained living legend status after four decades of unparalleled creativity and an artistic output that is simply staggering. Chick Corea Freedom Band is a new all-star quartet featuring alto saxophonist Kenny Garrett, bassist Christian McBride, and legendary drummer Roy Haynes, who turns 85 this year. Chick calls the Freedom Band “a meeting of free spirits in music.”
Music for the Heart is a project of The Struble Foundation, an Oregon non-profit (501c3) IRS EIN-20-5888927. Proceeds from this concert support heart research including OHSU Heart Research Center.
