The summer tour follows a banner year for the series and the group. Hi-5 was honored with its third Daytime Emmy nomination as “Outstanding Preschool Series”; they have wowed viewing audiences nationwide with their multiple appearances on NBC’s Today show and recently made their debut on Live With Regis and Kelly. The group also sold out its four shows at the Nokia Theatre on Broadway, where they kicked off their winter tour in February.

Hi-5 is the newest - and coolest! - children’s sensation to grace the preschool programming arena. The group and live show are based on the original production, which launched in Australia and now ranks as the #1 kids TV show, besting even fellow Aussie-based success story, The Wiggles. In the U.S., the popular program is seen in over 85 million homes each weekday on Discovery Kids and TLC. The talented Hi-5 cast consists of five ethnically-diverse role models, Jenn, Kimee, Curtis, Yasmeen and Sydney, who encourage preschoolers to get active by dancing and singing along, while they learn important developmental concepts across all educational categories from logical thinking and math to music and linguistics.

The group’s CD, Jump & Jive with Hi-5, from Koch Records has earned a Parents’ Choice Award and the DVD, Hi-5: Music Magic, won a 2004 iParenting Media Award. The group has made four headline-grabbing appearances on NBC’s Today show to date and the kinetic troupe has been labeled “the new Fab Five” by the New York Daily News, which proclaimed, “NY kids are so over The Wiggles - now they’re hooked on Hi-5” (“The new Fab Five,” 6/24/06).
