Indie-soul singer/songwriter Redray Frazier is a Portland transplant who made his move from New York City in 2002. He’s been carving out his path in the local scene, playing with a full band or as a solo act since. After spending most of 2008-10 touring worldwide in David Byrne’s (Talking Heads) band, Frazier has returned home, reuniting with some of Portland’s finest musicians in Matt Brown, Ezra Holbrook, Jeff Baxter, and Tom Nunes. Together they create a unique and convicted blend of soul/rock with intense passion.
